Bruce Lee

For hundreds of years, martial arts have been benefiting millions of people all over the world. In China, Buddhist monks, known as the Shaolin, originally developed this art. They invented it to help train themselves physically and mentally. It taught people self-defense, to be disciplined and strong-minded, as well as helping people get their body into shape. Since then, martial arts have been taught all over the world in many different styles. In the media today, we find martial arts almost everywhere, in the movies, TV shows, as well as video games. Many martial artists throughout the world are famous movie stars, but one man will forever be remembered as the greatest martial arts star of all time. Bruce Lee is considered to be one of the greatest martial artists as well as philosophers of all time. He has touched many people's lives even after his death. Bruce Lee "was born in the Year of the Dragon, in the Hour of the Dragon, on November 27, 1940" in Jackson Street Hospital in San Francisco, California. "Bruce's father, Lee Hoi Chuen was a well-known performer with the Cantonese Opera Company of Hong Kong, and was on the American tour" in San Francisco at that time while his wife, Grace, was pregnant with Bruce. Br
