Stop The Steroids

             Baseball has always been our national past time, watching the players we love and look up to. Pro athletes are role models for young kids all over the world, but at this point they have become criminals. The athletes have problems with theft, drug abuse, rape, murder, and now you can add steroid use to that list. The world never thought they would see the day that their childhood hero's would be accused of taking steroids. In the past years its only been the sports such as football that they believe has taking steroids because the game is so physical but now they are discovering its more than that. Baseball is now the one in a hole because the government has proved for a fact that they know there is certain players that have used them. We have to take an immediate stand and put a stop to steroid use in Major League Baseball.
             Kids have always looked up to their hero's and wanted to be the players they love, but how would parents feel about that now. Kids have always wanted to play like and act like their favorite players but now that steroids are being introduced to the game parents have to worry about one day their children doing the same. The government is finally starting to find out about several players using steroids to cheat the game of baseball. This has been believed to be a problem for years but the government and baseball have recently been taking precautions.
             The big company that is being looked into the most is BALCO. This is a bigger deal than you think; the President even mentioned steroid use at his State of the Union
             address. For the inventors and producers at the company, they are looking at possible time in jail. For the users of the BALCO they have to be looked at with shame for the rest of their playing days.
