You may choose from Art, Music, Another Language, History or science course. They look for students who are willing to donate their time in an effort to improve the human condition. You don't have to face these exams alone however; many of the teachers in Atlantic's program have helped the last 10 years worth of graduates succeed. After 2 years of study in these areas the candidates are required sit independent examinations ranging in length from 2 hours to 5 hours on a specific day in May. At Atlantic for the past 3 years there is a better than 90% chance of receiving the diploma at the conclusion of your courses here. They look for students who are successful and capable of all of this and still have time to participate in extra curricular activities. Participation in theater productions, different sport activities, band and various community service activities provides a refreshing counterbalance to the academic self-absorption some may feel within this demanding school program. These written exams are only part of the assessment of your abilities. It is not an easy path that you have chosen. nt takes seriously the importance of life experience. Top grades reflect attainment of knowledge and skills relative to set standards equally applied to all member schools.
