Kennedy, John Fitzgerald

John Fitzgerald Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States of America (U.S.A.) was assassinated in 1963. This event not only had effects for the U.S., but for a very large part of the world. His murder was never really solved and we still do not believe to know all the facts. There were theories about conspiracies, but none of them could be proved. He was one of the most famous American Presidents and a great loss, especially for America's minorities which Kennedy tried to help during his presidency. John Fitzgerald Kennedy was born on May 29,1917,in Brookline, Massachusetts (Worlds Encyclopedia of Assassination np). His father Joseph Kennedy was a banker and stock investor, who made millions in banking, stock, shipbuilding and real estate. Also invested in motion pictures. Kennedy attended private elementary schools, first Canterbury school in New Milford Connecticut, and then Choate school in Wallingford. After high school he went in the summer of 1935 to the London School of Economics. He was announced dead on November 22, 1963 (World Encyclopedia of Assassination np). Oswald complained the only thing he had done wrong was tocarry a gun into the theatre. Ruby's ties to organized crime led others to believe the Mafia was involved in the assassination. One suspicion was that Oswald and Ruby were part of a larger conspiracy. He was said to have contact to several Civil Rights leaders like Roy Wilkins, Whitney Young, A. Kennedy was difficult to guard because he insisted no secret service man or motorcycles be by his side. Then his father urged him to go into politics and Kennedy became a Congressman for Massachusetts from 1947 to 1953. The televisional funeral procession took him from the White House to the Capital. He was the youngest president of the United States of America ever and a very popular man.
