Macbeth

As one of the greatest writers, though now deceased, Shakespeare's talent stays a favorite. His best tragic piece, Macbeth, captures the absence of fidelity. Macbeth, a turbid man, experiences two hallucinations as a result of his wicked ambition. The dagger in Act I, scene i, leads Macbeth to fortitude, as Banquo's ghost in Act iii, scene iv, makes his perception quiver. While planning to kill Duncan, King of Scotland, Macbeth became very nervous. Before his sinful act, a dagger appeared floating in the air while he was waiting for the sound of the death bell. "To feeling as to sight, or art though but/ A dagger of the mind, a false creation." (II, i, 38-39) Soon after the dagger's appearance the bell rings, and Macbeth brutally kills Duncan. Macbeth, now power crazed, unconsciously orders Banquo to be killed. Macbeth even persuaded the two murderers to follow through with their jobs of killing Banquo. Both hallucinations are caused by the prophecies, giving Macbeth the greedy heart to kill. His insensible soul will only grow worse, and more hallucinations are bound to come. anquet the ghost of Banquo appears, takes a kind seat in Macbeth's chair, and tries to blame Macbeth for his cadaver appearance. After Duncan is dead, Macbeth is announced King. "Both of you/ Know Banquo was your enemy. Rogers 3Macbeth, like most of Shakespeare's plays, tells a story that has a moral lesson attached to it. " (III, iv, 51-52) Macbeth deceived the King and his best friend. Macbeth's imagination gets the best of him when he sees the ghost of Banquo sitting in his seat at the banquet. He cannot turn back, for he has done too much evil. For the first time since claiming the throne, Macbeth feels a little bit of his conscience. One person in Macbeth's way is his best friend, Banquo.
