Beowulf

In Beowulf's three battles against evil he demonstrates characteristics of both a traditional hero and a super hero. A traditional hero displays qualities such as those possessed by a night in shining armor. A super hero portrays an image of extra abilities and having enhanced powers. Each of the three battles shows a different aspect of Beowulf's hero personality, these battles are the encounters between Beowulf and Grendel, Grendel's Mother, and the Dragon.
In the battle of Beowolf and Grendle. Beowolf uses his bare hands. The fact that Beowolf used just his fists seems to be a traditional way of fighting. He shows heroic qualities in this confrontation also. Beowolf would be considered a traditional hero in this battle, nevertheless, in others he proves to be different.
Battle number two, where the dispute is between Grendle's mother and Beowolf. Beowolf shows super hero qualities unlike the previous battle. This conflict was met under water. This pronounces a special trait that Beowolf uses to defeat Grendle's mother. Furthermore, the use of a magical sword portrays an image of a super hero in the reader's mind.
The third battle shows two additional reasons why Beowolf is a super hero. The first is that the battle was a dispute for immortality. If Beowolf turns out victorious his name would live on forever. The second super hero aspect about Beowolf is he shows his enhanced strength by cutting the dragon in half to defeat him.
Most of the heroic qualities of Beowolf show him to be a super hero. But the facts still remain controversial and can be argued either way. From the given information supplied from the battles with Grendle's mother and the dragon, it seems to show that Beowolf is a super hero, with super powers.
