             Computer crime is a crime of fresh history. This crime affects all of us. People who are involved in this crime are looked at differently than people guilty of any other crime. This public offence is one which , in a very strange way, forces the accused to be looked at with respect, nobility, and intelligence. Judges fully realize and understand that thugs, rapists, and murders have no credibility and close to no intellectual capacity, the total opposite is true for people convicted of computer crime. The history of computer crime, convicted hackers, and those who were not convicted is a very interesting aspect of crime to take a closer look at.
             Thru history is has been made obvious that computer crime has been committed by a diverse populations consisting of students, amateurs, terrorists and members of organized crime groups. There are varying degrees to which computer crime can be committed, You have the criminal who accesses a computer system with out further criminal intent and you've also got the individual which is an employee of a financial institution and attempts to skim funds from customers accounts. It is very important that the judge takes the degree and nature of his crime deeply into consideration during sentencing.
             The age of Offenders convicted of computer crime can range anywhere form 10-60 years old. In comparison to age, their skill level can range from novice to a very highly skilled and technical professional. Computer criminals are often looked passed by corporations. It is usually the most unsuspecting of people which are committing the real crime, such as moving money around illegally, stealing company product information and selling it to a competitor etc...
