Information wise, with these technologies, the world would be a simpler place to live in. Instant Messenger programs allow you to talk one on one over the computer to a friend, or someone you just met off of a people finder. Palm Pilots have everything from date books to games to email. Cellular phones may one day take the place of regular land based (home) phones altogether.
