Prayer in School

To Pray or Not to Pray in Our Public Schools Voluntary prayer in public schools has been a controversial issue since the court ruling in 1963 that changed everything. One event in Oklahoma, Ernest Istook, a house republican, proposed a revision of the Religious Freedom Amendment (Van Biema, pg. org/library/modern/church- state/prayer. Americans have been consistent at the polls since 1960 on the issue of voluntary prayer. Their pray may give them the strength to do that very scary oral presentation, or take an exam. School violence has been a prominent issue in the upcoming generation with less moral taught at school.
