Anglicanism

             The Christianity isn't one big happy family, as Jesus intended it to be. Christianity has many different divisions, including, Catholic, Protestant, Eastern Orthodox. Throughout the ages Christianity hasn't always been good, there has been Wars, between the different branches, some have some different beliefs, but there is one belief that is held sacred to Christians, the belief in The Lord, Jesus Christ. Through all the fighting and war of words, Jesus is still a major part of all the branches of Christianity. Corruption, not always the greatest thing, has been prevalent in the Church, through different sorts of scandals for example, buying your way into heaven, the ability to divorce your spouse. Anglicanism, was the born through, divorce. Henry VII wanted to divorce his wife, and the Catholic Church did not allow him to do so, therefore, he created his division of Christianity, which allowed for divorce. Anglicanism is the official Church of England, and its followers and traditions are based on England after the Reformation. Anglicans maintain authority within the church through apostolic succession.
             The term Anglicanism is word that is used to describe the religious belief and position members of the established Church of England, as well as the communicating Churches in the British Commonwealth. It is described as the Episcopal Church in the United States, and other Non British settlements. It includes those who have accepted the work of the English Reformation as embodied in the Church of England or in the offshoot Churches, which in other countries have adhered, at least substantially, to its doctrines, its organization, and its liturgy. Apart from minor or missionary settlements, the area in which Anglicanism is to be found corresponds roughly with those portions of the globe, which are, or were formally, under the British flag.
