A person that caused a car wreck might deny being at fault because he or she does not want to accept the responsibility for fixing the other person’s car and paying high insurance premiums. Since the person is not known or recognized as a liar, they can successfully manipulate others. Once elected, they may not pursue their pre-election platform because getting into office was more important than addressing the issues. Since they occasional tell the truth, people can be deceived into believing a particular story is factual. The world is a competitive and critical place.
