From a very young age we are thought about faith, which is the belief and trust in loyalty of a god. No matter what the religion there is always a god that followers are told to believe in, and in doing so he or she would be helped in his or her time of hardship by this god and in the end be rewarded.
In Christianity and Judaism there is God and in Islam there is Allah. In other cultures, the people believe in more than one god. The Greeks believed in a number of gods and goddesses, including Zeus, Hera, Poseidon and Aphrodite. In Hinduism there are also a number of gods and goddesses, including the gods Vishnu, Shiva, and Hanuman and the goddess Lakshmi.
No matter how different the religion and the practices of these religions, followers all have faith in their gods. They believe in the teachings and always try to do what the gods want them to do.
