Drunk Driving

For this project I decided to interview my boyfriend Mike. He is 21
years old and an electrician. The reason I decided to pick Mike is because we
argue about this all of the time, but this time I actually got some good out of
I began by stating my claim and asking him if he agreed with the statement. He
most definitely didn't; so I asked him "Why?" He replied by saying that it is
an over kill of a punishment, and people won't be able to social drink because
they will be worried about going over the legal limit.
"What about having a designated driver then," I asked. "What if it is just you
and your wife/husband out for dinner? You want to have a couple of drink but you
can't because the blood alcohol level is so low. People will blow over the legal
limit and may not be drunk," He claimed.
"But isn't it against the law and people should be punished for breaking the
law." (Amy) "I agree that they should be punished," claimed Mike, " But this
punishment is to extreme. There are people out there who rape children and
commit murder and get off for less then five years at times."

believe that if there was a law out there about this then more people would have
the chance to live because not as many idiots would be out there driving around
intoxicated. Just one beer has an affect on how you think and react to things
and for some people; they have to learn the hard way.
