Integrity

INTEGRITY Integrity is a powerful thing. What is it exactly though? Has it fallen by the wayside with the shift in generations? As the dictionary states Integrity: firm adherence to a code of especially moral or artistic values, or otherwise known as incorruptible. Someone who has integrity always does what they feel is right. They are leaders and with great pride. They are always in control of the situation that they are in. Someone with great integrity is never going to lower there pride in themselves. Integrity stands for soundness, completeness and honesty. Without integrity you are considered a low grade human being, someone who is going to lower themselves to someone else's level because they are not strong, and have no pride in themselves, no self esteem, and most of all no integrity. Integrity is believing in yourself, it is not about being cocky. This is the hardest line not to cross. I felt I had to do what I felt right, I felt incorrigible because I had pride and integrity. There is nothing worse than disrespecting someone that trusted and respected you so much. I must prove myself all over again and swallow my pride, for now I must gain integrity and try to earn back the respect that I once had. I forgot everything I have ever learned over the years and lost all the integrity I had. I must move on now and learn from my past. I feel integrity is respecting those who deserve to be respected, and not just respecting them in your heart, but by showing them that you truly respect them. I thought that I was better than everyone else. He treats me different; he treated me with respect and as an adult individual and not a little kid student. All the group projects that I did alone, all the extra time spent in honors and taking everything to a whole new level was worthless right Wrong I am still happy that I accomplished all I did. 0 GPA they act so shocked and surprised. I know it will be hard and possibly impossible but I will try as hard as I can to do it.
