The Civil War of the United States of America encountered many turning points, but The Battle of Gettysburg is the most crucial. This war was a contest between the northern Union Army, and the southern Confederate Army. Most wars are comprised of crucial events or turning points that change the tide of the war. The three-day battle at Gettysburg left both sides battered, and exhausted resulting in a crucial moment of the Civil War.
