Vincent Van Gogh
I. Vincent Van Gogh was an artistic genius, yet he was very insecure thorough-out his whole life which eventually leads to death. A. Vincent Van Gogh fell in love with the land lady's daughter who thought of Vincent as disgusting and wanted nothing to do with him. B. Vincent Van Gogh meets Sein a prostitute and is soon rejected by her and he falls into deep depression. C. Vincent Van Gogh's neighbors had a daughter that he soon began to date. Her parents didn't agree with this and she soon poisoned herself. Van Gogh thought it was his fault and then again falls into depression. A. Vincent Van Gogh was very depressed while working at Goupil & Cie and scared off many customers because of his rude remarks. This lead him to being relocated from his job. B. Van Gogh was sent to their London branch where he soon started harassing customers and telling them that the art work was a waste of money and they didn't need them, he was soon fired from that job. C. Vincent Van Gogh wanted to become a priest but he failed all of the classes he took and was rejected from being a priest and from the school because of the grades he was getting.
Van Gogh begins to paint and is rejected by class mates at his school and moves in with his brothers friend Theo so he could help him with his painting addiction. He lost his father in March of 1885, Vincent became depressed yet he still began painting, he began painting an art piece which was labeled as " The Potato Eaters," which was known now to be one of his most famous pieces of art work. Because the flowers wilted so quickly, he worked on his canvases every day. Today Vincent Van Gogh is known as one of the most elemental forces of Impressionists Artists. "I have tried to emphasize that those people, eating their potatoes in the lamplight have dug the earth with those very hands they put in the dish, and so it speaks of manual labor, and how they have honestly earned their food.
