High School Drop outs

Each day, thousands of teenagers all over the world give up on their school education for so many reasons. They're pregnant, they need a job to help out the families, they've serious family problem, they've school problems, they've a sickness or they've drugs problems.Pregnancy in many teenagers happen because the freedom of having sex without any protection. The lack of education regards the consequences from with having such a freedom. The wrong thought in the twentieth centuries of being virgin in high school is a shame. When a student's pregnant, it'll increase the rate to be dropout into 60% (Kathleen Kaminski). Because after the baby born, it may be hard to find child care, unless the family members support the student and helps her to finish the high school. In some families, they'll ask the student leave school after they know she's pregnant, or the family's so angry they don't want to help their daughter. Some girls drop school to get married when they're pregnant. The young couples think, marriage will solve their problem and they can't go back to school. Marriage at a young age is another enormous personal problem because the marriage's a very stressful factor to any students. This stress can a


nd does bring many students to the conclusion they've too much to handle and school becomes a second priority, they may give up on school altogether. Elizabeth Weiss Vollstadt wrote, "Almost one-third of teens will give work as a reason for dropping school. The addiction from abusing drugs makes the students have difficulties in concentrating during class, and makes students become apathetic. Students may dropout from school because their addiction problems or they need to go to rehab for sometime and when they get back to school the their peers in school don't support her/him and it makes her/him dropout from school. We also must take in consideration that some of the high school dropouts have health problems. Some students may and do have to take jobs to support themselves or their family. Beside that, students will dropout from school because of one of the family members is sick. Showed that the top two reasons for dropping out involved school problems: "didn't like school" (44%) and "was getting poor grades" (39%). We need to looked at and examine closely when we have a dropout student around us, than we judge or think as a bad person. Elizabeth Weiss Vollstadt wrote, "From 1988 - 1992, the most comprehensive study to date of why students drop outs is a U. Robert Fulford wrote his own experienced as a dropout's student because of his sickness. It is because he has ADD spectrum (Attention Deficit Disorder). Nearly fifty one percent had used marijuana at least once; twenty three percent used it within 30 days of the survey.
