             Once the world embraced the automobile, the days of depending on horses, bicycles, ferries, and trains quickly slipped into the past. People were impressed with the speed of the automobile but they were also enjoying the personal freedom that the automobile gave them. Owning a car gave people the freedom to go anyplace they wanted to. This allowed people to travel at anytime and anywhere that they wanted too. This independence gave the car a popular edge over buses and trains because they didn't have to wait on anyone or wait for the train or bus to get there.
             The popularity of the automobile made it the backbone of the transportation system. The automobile changed our lives. It created a giant industry that offered more and more jobs. The automobile made it possible to save peoples lives like when the Ambulance was thought of. Being able to get a phone call when someone was hurt or injured and rush to their assistance and rush them to the hospital. The automobile helped corporation ship there goods to stores quicker. Automobiles just turned the world up a notch in speed wise.
             The Automobile caused cities to grow and made suburban living more convenient. Of course, with more places to go, more roads had to be developed and built. The automobile caused a snowball effect. Jobs increased, industries grew, new industries developed, and cities appeared. Today the automobile industry continues to offer many opportunities. Jobs are plentiful in this industry and improvements continue to be made to the automobile as the new technology comes. The automobile has changed the way people live and work all over the world.
             The automobile helped the development of many jobs like the tourist basis.
