Attention Disorder
Learning disabilities or otherwise simply known as LD is a disability which can greatly impact a person's life. From the time you were taught the ABC's to the time you learned quantum macanics you are consistantly learning and developing knowledge of the educational world around you. Some are not so fortunet and although hold average or above average IQ's can not grasp the concepts of reading and writing. In this study it will be proved how identifying LD at an early age can help prepare a child for the rest of their lives.Paragraph #1: What'z a Learning Disability"h There are many types of learning disabilities but some of the most common include; -Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) : Troubles concentration on one thing for a period of time. -Attention Deficit/Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD): Trou
"h Special organizations like the IPRC (Identification Placement and Review Committee Procedures) are set up to make both parents and schools aware of a disorder and keep them involved in the learning process. Through seeing the many different disorders and the possible solutions which can be done for them it is apparent that it is a process. -Dyscalculia: Problems with math and mathematical equations. "h Many tests can be done through school, but not all effective because of the wide varitey of disorders. " W1"h Child that isn't identified becomes very frustrated and will often hate school. "h Parents need to be supportive and patient. "h Definition: Learning disability is a disorder that affects a person's ability to interpret what they see and hear, or to link and process information in the brain. Often there is a large misunderstanding between the parents and the supposid laziness of the child. There is a tremendous social/emotional aspect to it as the child feels "stupid" when it can not grasp the concepts the other kids do. No one test can capture all disorders. Paragraph #3: How does identifying help their future?"h "If not dected early, however they can have a tragic "snowballing" effect. "h Some even graduate without having the ability to read or write.
