The main founder which is agreed upon is Kung Fu-Tuz. He was born in 551 B.C. into a very poor family with a very strong and noble lineage. When his thoughts and ideas were eventually discovered by the European Jesuit missionaries, they gave him the name of Confucius. He then began to wander throughout the states of China telling and teaching about what he believed in. He was a very noble man and did not like to be praised by any means. Even though he did not get to see his success, he would rather have had it this way than not at all. His views and ideas were not being listened to and did not receive the recognition or response he was looking for. " This shows how large and popular his teaching have and did become. He considered himself to be equal to all the people who surrounded him. Today, he is sometimes refered to as " The Master. The most popular of these books is the Analects (Lun Yu). His teachings began to pick up and he would soon become one of the largest and most influential people in Chinese history.
