Electronic commerce is changing the way to do business. Nowadays a lot of transactions are made through the Internet. Another important issue that will be discussed is the way mobile Internet can change the way we communicate and do business.Each country's law control the transactions made through the Internet, besides there are international treaties policies that not allow some products to be commercialize. For instance, in Mexico, politicians are making a new Electronic Commerce law, because there was not regulations about it. Latin America is a young market that if gets well educated will trust more and will not have to learn from the mistakes done in the past in other nations. It is important in this globalize world to have an standard in this kind of transaction, nevertheless there are different law in every country, but we can start having quality content on the net, so people trust more and get better educated. Depending of the country's technology, needs and culture are the different technology used. Here in Australia we can see this new American Express Blue that us supposed to have unbeatable online security, AMEX says that is an online fraud guarantee card. We have seen how the technological advance countries such as the US and Japan has advance in just a few years. Japan is ahead about mobile technology, but the reason because is far behind in e-Commerce because of the language barriers, the cultural differences, the shortage of global standards, the lack of communication regulations. This issue was also discussed in the last assignment as one of the ten greater problems in the Internet. The US is experimenting all kind of problems because is the most advance nation in this aspect. They're new development in payments methods. In Japan and in many other countries there are huge investments in telecommunications, but there are always problems with the access and the slow services. Technology is growing so fast; it is a race against everybody. The article talks about this handset are going to have in a future lifeline functions such as GPS systems and ITS systems, but since the article was written at the end of 2000, there most be already this kind of technology is some countries, besides, there are already some handsets with radio, voice recorder, digital camera, and they are boosted by bluetooth technology.
