My views on high school and college are very different. I had to think a lot about how I was going to adapt to the change. I knew that nothing would be the same after high school. There would be different clubs to be in and different schools to choose from. Other students all over have learned that college is expensive. I had most of it but I still saved some extra money for the extras that I will need. High school and college are different in a lot of ways.
             College is costing me a lot more money than high school. Besides tuition and books, gas is my biggest expense. I drive fifty miles round trip a day. Spending forty to fifty dollars a week on fuel is outrageous to me. Two dollars a gallon for fuel is the worst expense. Tuition is very expensive and without my scholarships I would have to get a loan that would cost me even more. Finding a good meal for a good price is hard. I get burned out on Subway. I don't like to eat fast food because it's expensive and not good for me. The vending machines are more expensive. To get a Mountain Dew or a Pepsi it's a dollar and ten cents. On the other hand in high school I spent more time getting ready for school than it took me to get there. High school tuition and books were really cheap. Only a few hundred dollars covered books and tuition. In high school gas was down to a dollar and eighty cents a gallon. I could go weeks without visiting the pump. My school had closed campus. The only place we could eat was in the cafeteria. Lincoln Land's cafeteria is still more expensive than my high school was. My fellow classmates couldn't go to the local restaurant or anyplace other than the cafeteria. Sometimes my friends in high school and I wondered if fast food was better for us than our school food.
             The college campus is more improved than my high school was. There is a very nice pond, many good looking beautiful trees, and plenty of wildlife to watch. The parking ...
