A Bird in the House

             If Vanessa were a boy, it would have differences in the story. Because a boy is riper than a girl, but not as carefully conceived as a girl. Vanessa would be brave if she was a boy. He would challenge his grandfather Connor when grandfather Connor blamed his mother. He would be more conspiracy when grandmother Macleod wanted to control him since a boy doesn't like being quiet and obey everything that grandmother Macleod told him to do.
             I think Vanessa would not give a different type of narration if Vanessa were a boy. Because she used first person in the story, so if she was a boy there is no differences and no affection in the story. If she use reporter to narrate, it would be poor than she use first person. Because it not real when she use reporter to narrate.
             She would have different relationship with her family and her community. The relationship between him and aunt Edna would be not as good as when she was a girl. Because she was a boy, a boy doesn't like sit properly to listen to others and a boy doesn't care about the adult's matter so aunt Edna would not tell a lot of things to Vanessa and discuss with him. His grandfather Connor would like him more, because grandfather Connor is a traditional man, so he would love him very much. The temper of boy is bad so the relationship of him and his friends would be poor than he was a little girl, and his friends would be boys more than girls because boy likes to play with boys
