Asian and American Culture

The American wife stays at home and runs the house and cares for the children and keeps up with the financial of the household. Many families have three generations living under one roof. This is similar to most American women, especially with the housewives. To Vietnamese people, junk food would be fruit, especially sweet fruit such as logan. In Vietnam, when I am 40, if my parents are still alive, I must ask them. As in many other Asian countries, family is the foundation of Vietnamese society. She also runs internal family affairs such as: cooking, sewing, babycare, farm work and managing workers in the family. She is in charge of teaching all her daughter about the things that girls should do, know, take care, and stay away from, according to a typical confucian educated family. It is mostly in the south where the land is fertile and where the farmlands are at, but mostly Vietnam has many rice paddies. Logans grow on trees, they are kind of like the kumquaits but its shell on the outside is brown and inside is this white juicy fruit unlike the kumquaits’ sweet and tangy taste. So maybe the next time when you eat a slice of pizza try picking it up wit chopsticks or eat rice with a fork because I know sometimes I do. Also because of the fact that many people are Vietnam are living in poverty. So women from both culture works really hard and enjoyed their work in their garden. So what they do to pass time is spend time with their family. Well one of the major reasons they aren’t couch potatoes is because not many Vietnamese family owned television sets.
