Even though this book is fiction it ties together human events of today with it, and gives an important lesson about life and how it should be. For their efforts these scientists were rewarded with the virus being released and transforming them and everything in their laboratory into these carnivorous things. The good people try to perserve life and do whatever they can to get rid of the bad things that plagues the world. Most and inch or two across and surrounded by raw, bloody flesh - it was as if he'd been stabbed hundreds of times with a dull knife, each vicious cut ripping away chunks of skin and muscle. While reading the book I realized there are 2 kinds of people in this world, good and bad. ing turning them into a creature with the will to feed off the living.
