             1640: Hotel De Bourgone - The night's play was to be Baro's Clorise, and the leading actor was to be Montfleury. It was the famous theater in which Corneilli's Le Cid was introduced.
             1640: Ragueneau's Pastry Shop - This is a place for food and where other poets along with Ragueneau congregated. Roxane and Cyrano met there. She tells Cyrano about her love for Christian.
             1640: The house of Roxane - This is where Roxane lived. Its also the place where Cyrano spoke for Christian and got him his kiss. Capuchin married Christian and Roxane later on that night.
             1640: The Post - Occupied by the Company of Carbon De Castel-Jaloux at The Siege of Arras. This is where the cadets of Gasgone fight the Spanish. Christian tragically dies in this battle of a gun shot wound.
             1655- Late October: The Park of the convent - Occupied by the Ladies of the Cross, at Paris. Cyrano visited Roxane there every Saturday to tell her of the gossip over the week, One Saturday Cyrano is late because he is hit by a log in the head. Profusely bleeding, he shows up at the convent and before he dies, confesses to Roxane that he was the man behind the letters and that he loves her. He died there.
             Cyrano de Bergerac - The main character of the play. He is a soldier, poet, philosopher, and scientist- a man of immense courage, versatility, and talent. His nose is rather large and he is not very fond of people who comment on it. He is an expert swordsman and challenges anyone who mentions his nose. He jealously guards his intellectual freedom, even though he suffers poverty. His integrity and innate nobility of spirit are the theme of the play.
