Benito Mussolini was an ambitious dictator who started Fascism.
He was a dictator of Italy from 1922 to 1943.He was the kind of person who needed to prove himself to others and later became the most important supporter of the Fascist movement. Mussolini was also a writer and in his paper, he continued his campaign for war. He attempted to create an Italian empire, ultimately in alliance with Hitler's Germany. This group wasn’t afraid to use violence of subversion to achieve its objectives. Even though, Mussolini had hatred for the church, monarchies and the military. There is an introduction where it states when he was born, when he died and the years he was allied with Hitler. It was organized very well with easy to decipher headings. The second best source was the webpage article. This site had a good amount of information about Mussolini but not as good as the Encarta webpage. Benito Mussolini died in 1938 and this information, originally published in 2001, was recently updated in 2002. The only background information is when he was captured, when he ruled and when he died. The author clearly informs the reader about Benito Mussolini’s good services and bad actions. The scope of the source is too narrow. Overall, information about Benito Mussolini from this source was satisfactory. The topic was more about fighting over souvenirs rather than just about Mussolini. The article makes Mussolini seem like one of the most important people of all time.
