She hadn’t gotten out of bed that morning to take me to school. The ambulance came to take my mom to the hospital and my aunt stay behind with us until my dad could come home from work. She had told me that my mom was in the hospital having my little sister or brother. I found that I actually liked helping out with the baby. I called my dad at work to have him come home and check on her. April was quickly approaching and my mom was getting closer to having my sister. Nobody could have imagined what happened next. I think I also grew up a lot that week when my mom was gone. The next day we went up to the hospital to see her. It can bring a whole family together though.
