The main reason people use anabolic steroids is to increase their sports performance. Body builders are also the top abusers of steroids. Another reason is to increase their muscle size and reduce their body fat. They use it to not be picked on (to intimidate). Some people use it because the have muscle dismorphia. It can cause you to have homicidal rage, mania, and delusions. Steroids increase the risk that blood clots will form damaging the heart muscle so that it does not pump blood right.

Anabolic steroids can be taken orally or taken intramuscularly or they are in gels or creams. It can trigger your growth giving you a short stature or a tendon rupture. It can cause enlargement of th clitoris and excessive growth of body hair in women. It can cause male pattern baldness in both sexes.

The consequences of abuse can be acne and breast development in men, heart attacks, and liver cancer. A little workout in the gym now and then would help too. Steroids also cause serious things such as heart disease, kidney cancer, liver cancer, depression, hostility, eating disorders, stunted height, beard, and acne and risk oh HIV. Sellers are punishable of up to 5 years and/or $250,000. You can get life threatening viral diseases like HIV, and hepatitis b/c.
