Freedom, democracy, and human rights are the causes that are being fought for in the book Freedom From Fear. This book is a collection of speeches and essays of Aung San Suu Kyi's fight for human rights as well as a historical review of Burma's inheritance and forthcoming. Aung San Suu Kyi received the Nobel Peace Prize and has been recognized for her struggle against tyranny for freedom and dignity. Aung San joined many different radical political organizations. The causes of decline includes many reasons; when democratic rights had been lost to military dictatorship, sufficient efforts have not been made to regain them, moral and political values have been allowed to deteriorate without attempts to save the situation, the economy has been badly managed, and the country is being ruled by men without integrity or wisdom. The purpose of the next section was to educate the reader of the beauty of Burma and all the many wonderful qualities it possesses. Like her father, she would not allow herself to conform to the ways of her countries policies. Nor upon tradition, nor upon rumours. Do not go upon what has been acquired by repeating hearing. The government managed to hold out against the rebellions, and a fair measure of peace was restored. By overcoming those fears individuals can experience concepts such as truth, justice, and compassion. Courage develops though refusing to give into one's fear. It has been translated into an action taken in by the people of Burma. The Burma Socialist Programme Party guides the government. As soon as Burma became an independent country problems arose. The old Burmese politicians were not bold enough, not Burmese enough, not radical enough, or perhaps simply not young enough for the new generation of education. More than forty percent of the countries earnings come from the sale of rice. He did not want to conform to the teachings of politics that had been thrown at him.
