If I Could Go to Irlend

"The turf is of brighter hue, the hills glow with a richer purple,
the varnish of holly and ivy is more glossy . . . I never in my life saw

             describing Ireland
If you could ever fly over Ireland you would know why it's called the Emerald Isle. Looking down you would see rolling farmlands that resemble quilts, lush meadows and pastures filled with grazing livestock, and tree covered mountains filled with green grandeur. You wouldn't only see green though. Ireland is surrounded by clear blue ocean and filled with sparkling blue lakes that shimmer throughout the island. There is 27,136 square miles of pure beauty.
The climate is just as great as the land. Summers are cool and winters are warm. The temperature in the summer averages to about 60°F and the winters are about 40°F. There is rarely snow, and when there is, it's beautiful.
One of the most important things to Ireland is its exports and natural resources. Some are barely & potatoes. The most important exports are dairy products, livestock, alcoholic beverages, chemicals, machinery, paper, processed food, and textiles. Those are just a few of many recourses and exports.
Holidays are very important to the Irish. The most important holidays are St. Brigid's Day (February 1st), St. Patrick's Day (March 17th), Easter, Halloween (October 31st), All Saint's Day (November 1st), and Christmas (December 25th). Those are all very important holidays in Ireland.
As you might've noticed, most of the holidays in Ireland are religious. Religion is very important to the Irish. The main two religions in Ireland are Protestant and Roman Catholic.
