Who has seen the wind/ why shoot the teacher
In the two books Who Has Seen the Wind by author W.O. Mitchell and Why Shoot the Teacher by author Max Braithwaite there were several examples of Teacher- Student relationships shown. For example, Brian and Miss MacDonald, and Max Braithwaite and all of his students. The three main topics discussed in this essay are, how teacher's and student's communicate, how teachers and students deal with their problems or actions and lastly, how the relationships end badly. An important aspect in school for both the teacher and the student is how they communicate. In the book Who Has Seen the Wind Brian starts off with a very bad relationship with his teacher Miss MacDonald. An example of this is "... then I'll give you permission to see Artie" He stood watching her. "Sit down in your seat!" He continued to stand. Miss MacDonald's thin face reddened slightly. She bite her lip. "Sit down!" Brian stood". This incident shows Brian does not really care what the teacher has to say to him. The author goes as far as saying "She wasn't his mother". This just shows that the teacher, Miss MacDonald hasn't got the children's respect yet. Before there can be a good relationship, both sides, the stu
This is easier to accomplish with some people then it is with others. " If it has gone this far, the student teacher relationship is terrible, which is never good for any classroom. " This shows that it isn't just scary for the students to come to school, but it is also scary for the teacher on their first day. This was a large mistake on Braithwaite's part because Jake Stevenson's family provides his water for bathing and drinking for him. "My God! In the barn with the door closed tight. After this he refused to bring him water the water he relied on to do everything. dent and the teacher have to earn the others respect. The issues that were relevant in the places and time of these fine literary works amazingly still ring true in our very lives today. Braithwaite had to sneak around to find out, he could not just ask or walk in. This caused him to sneak back in the school, change pants, and still never find out what was going on in the barn. She also threatens him with god's punishment. When Brian goes home and tells his mother what had happened, she immediately wants an interview with the teacher. "By Easter she was sure that she needed a change of school". In both books, the student-teacher relationships end badly.
