He wants to, but all he can see in his “God” Equus (a horse) when he is there. He takes her into his office and she breaks down over all of her distress. Frank Strang visits the doctor later and informs him about Alan’s religious doings. He talks about how Jill and him went to the cinema and it was the type of movie that there were only men watching. Dysart gives Alan a placebo to make Alan tell the truth and Alan believes that it works and talks. Then the doctor begins to see Equus and knows how the boy feels. The next day, the doctor hypnotizes Alan and makes him tell more about the first horse he met. k and Dora Strang and he finds out about Alan’s strange attraction to horses. He said that he saw his father there and his father was disappointed in him for going to the theatre.
