Hinduism

In the religion of Hinduism, I believe that there is more then one god. The gods in Hinduism represent different aspects in the Hindu religion. There are different forms of yoga where you can connect with one particular god and temples are dedicated to a certain god as well.

The gods in Hinduism represent different aspects of Hinduism. There are many gods and goddesses. For example the 3 major gods are Brahma, Shiva and Vishnu. Brahma creates the world, Shiva destroys the world so Brahma

. . .

can re-create it again and Vishnu is the god of protection and who looks after the world. There are temples dedicated to each god and many forms in which they can be worshipped. Lakshmi is the goddess of wealth and is the wife of Vishnu. Even though all the gods form one god, who is Brahman, I still feel that there are many gods worshipped in the Hindu religion. Paravati is the wife of Shiva and the mother of Ganesh who is the elephant god and the god of good fortune. In the centre of the madir there is a shrine dedicated to the god of that temple. The Bhatki yoga is the devotion to any one particular god. Outside the mandir there is decorations and sculptures to honour the appropriate god. Kali is the goddess of destruction who is a counterpart of Shiva. It is very popular because people can identify with any one of the gods. In the mandir puja is performed daily to the particular god of that specific temple. Sarasvati is the goddess of knowledge and the daughter of Brahma.

In the religion of Hinduism, I believe that there are many gods.
