Freshman Goals
I want to work on improving my attitude to be more positive in regards to life in general. To work on improving my attitude would effect all areas of my life. A positive attitude makes everything about your life more enjoyable. It makes all of it easier to accomplish in a timely manner, and I wouldn't have to struggle to convince myself to finish things up. When I am not feeling my usual positive self, I will try not to listen to negative input from people who sometimes don't even realize that they are being negative. I need to be very careful about the type of music that I tend to listen to when I am feeling negative also. I would also like to start paying more attention to eating healthier, and with less "junk" food. I think that eating healthier, and getting rid of the "junk" food would be good for not only the physical me, but it would have to have a positive effect on all aspects of my life. It can't be good to have all that salt and crap in what we eat for our brains and our bodies. Eating healthier is not as difficult as I might try to make it. I just won't allow myself to stop at the fast food restaurants more than once in a while. I can also not order the "super sized" meal when we do stop.
I will exercise much more caution this time around when choosing friends. I'm also bad about procrastinating with homework, and would like to change that bad habit. I try to remind myself that the grades and the work ethic really do count at this point in my life, and a little ambition goes a long way. I just want to repay him for all he has done for my mom and me. My mom and dad are both so very proud of me when I do well, and give my best effort, and I owe them the same courtesy. I have never had any trouble making friends, but I plan on introducing myself to everyone in my Sadrisabet 4all my classes this year. My family would be even more proud of my achievements if I would just share some of the achievements with them. I do want to be really careful when choosing friends that I will be spending time with. I have to get past the idea that homework is only going to take a short amount of time, and most of the time it is at least twice the amount that I estimated for it. I'm sure I am capable of much better work if I'm not in such a time crunch. I'd also like to make an effort to spend more time with my dad. The more friends, the merrier Any new friends I make, I want to make sure they're the kind of friends that I want To keep for a long time. I am probably one of the worst procrastinators that I know with schoolwork. I have a bad habit of cramming things into my backpack, and then they never get to even see any of them.
