I’m going to tell all of you a story about a very special person. She had her life ruined just because there happened to be a couple of problems when she was born. She lived the life of a castaway for no reason whatsoever, except for the fact that she was born with an anomaly.
Her name was Alma. It was just as common a name as Cregga or Deyna. Her parents were just like any other travelers. They had stopped at a peninsula-type village 10 seasons earlier.
The townsfolk welcomed them and said “It looks like you’re staying for a while. You came at a good time, we are about to have our Autumn Feast Festival.”
“Yes we are staying a while”, said Barkstripe, “And we’re leaving with an extra person too.” Sunstar patted her stomach.

In reality, he had drawn his sword before jumping and had stuck it into the side of the chasm, Barkstripe and Alma had slowly slid down the side of the chasm. The new Lord built his castle and with his warriors they protected the coast from corsairs and pirates. They found a tribe of warriors by the western seacoast. They found out that they truly belonged with this tribe, and Alma’s Father built a Mountain stronghold named Salamandastron. They were now stranded, because up North there were mountains, and a giant chasm that couldn’t be crossed. They were left in a very perilous situation. Her mother tried to stop them, but she was killed. Then they tried to get Alma, but her mother’s sacrifice had not been in vain, for it had given enough time for Barkstripe to grab the baby and make a run for it. So he climbed through it, and he lived there with Alma until Barkstripe made a bridge across the top of the chasm so they could escape.
The villager’s were wondering why this had happened, but when they saw little Alma.
