Merlin: character analysis

             In the movie Merlin, there were many characters with different personalities. Each had their own perspective on what was wrong and right. The main characters that were doing right were Merlin and Arthur. Although they made mistakes they tried with all their might to do the right thing. Many of the mistakes were due to the deceitfulness of Queen Mab and Fick
             Merlin grew up the first part of his life not realizing his capabilities of magic. After being trained how to use his powers by the evil Queen Mab he decided to use them for good instead of evil as Queen Mab wanted him to. Going against what Queen Mab wanted he took on a long search looking for a good man who could rule the country. Merlin judged men to easily and was often hurt or deceived by the men because he trusted them too much. Merlin could not see past all the lies and failed at finding the right man.
             Arthur was the man who Merlin found and was believed to be the right one to rule the country. Arthur always seemed to think he was doing right and felt he was doing right but he was tricked by Queen Mab. Queen Mab tricked him into sleeping with his sister and made sure there was a son. Although Arthur had been tricked he stood up for himself and what was right. His noble men left him for evil and still he remained strong in his leadership.
             Queen Mab was a very evil woman. She wanted to take over the world and turn it to evil. She thought she could teach Merlin to turn the world to evil, but because he had a desire to do good, he would not help her. She did not want to be forgotten because she knew if she was she would be destroyed and disappear. Every one turned their back on her including Fick and she was forgotten and killed.
             Fick was Queen Mabs follower. He followed her because she gave him a chance and a life. He always did what Queen Mab asked cause she controlled him but did not always agree. Fick wanted to live a
