So many times, it's all happened before,And as I get older, it happens more and more. They say "I Love You" when all they want is sex,And I'm left wondering, "What happens next?" I've had my share of insults, from "ugly" to "fat" to "hoe",And no matter how they hurt, I never let it show. So hit me, hurt me, tease me, taunt me,
My clothes, my body, my glasses or hair,No matter what I do to help, you always stare. But I'll just ignore, I won't hear a word you say,Because I'm writing my letter, and killing myself today. Then you say, with that gleam in your eye,"Do the world a favor; get bent and die. So hit me, hurt me, tease me, taunt me,At least I know my guilt won't haunt me. You said I should, and I'm finally gonna do it,And one day, you'll look back and see you blew it. You sit there, laughing, as I stand there, sad,Trying hard not to show a heart hurt bad. " So, here we are, once again face to face,You smiling, about to put me in my place. I know I'm just a girl, and a person to ignore,But that just seems to make you hate me even more.
