Ernest Hemingway
Hemingway was a man of integrity, but also a very dedicated writer and so called war hero. He spent a lot of his time being depressed over all his hardships in life that he went through. He once said, "every man would die depressed". When he began writing he was soon noted for his writing abilities and became the next most important writer since Shakespeare. Hemingway was born in 1899 to an abusive family. His parents wanted a girl or at least his mom did so as Ernest grew up he was raised as a girl. They had dressed him up in girl clothes. He had kids that he always tried to teach them his ways on the water and in hunting. His life became filled with drinking and depression. Though many of his stories were not true he always said he was very heroic. He soon was able to have his wish when he became a reporter for the war. He never said for those troops to lead him they just followed him and respected him for who he was. He was able to write and tell many stories from his past war experiences. He lived in Cuba most of the time but traveled a lot. He was a big time cheater on his wives. He tried to join the army but they would not let him in because of his poor vision so he joined the Red Cross. He always lost his women he was remarried many times throughout his life. His life was a very hard lived but it also seemed to be a fun one at times. His life soon ended when the archduke was assassinated. His wish more than anything was to go to the front lines. He was a well liked man throughout high school, he loved to play football but was a poor athlete. Even his women drank with him, a lot of people said that he was a male chauvinistic male.
