My Family's brief history
My great grandfather's name was Ali. Ail lived and died in north of Iraq 100 years ago. His only son named Hassan migrated to a place in the north west of Iran. Hassan's Mother after her husband dies gets married in north of Iraq and because of her remarried Hassan gets angry and never like to see her or hear about her. This is the reason that we as great grand children don't know if we have any relative in north of Iraq. As I mentioned the only ancestor who leaves north of Iraq with his Harki tribe almost 110 years ago was Hassan. Hassan that time was a teenager and was suffering from illness that finds in the new land. After he recovers he settles in a beautiful area called Mavaneh that is located under the skirts of Ararat Mountains. He gets used to new land and grows. After a while Hassan gets married my grandmother Amineh. Amineh gets birth to three children, koushan, my father and the oldest child, Mohammad, my uncle, and Golnaz, my aunt who dies at the very young age. My father lived in mavaneh in an agricultural area almost for whole his life. My mother married him and liked him because of his braveness and his handsomeness and also because of being from the same tribe. My mother
After one year my wife and the four children came to live with me. They helped us to live temporarily in Turkey while they preparing to send us to a third country. Now none of us live in the farms. After that I knew that it will be never easy for me to have quite life under this government and policy. We stayed in Florida for 4 months, but we were seeking some people like us to communicate with them. The only one who had high school education was me. I had a good friend who was in jail for 7 years. I wanted my village and they sent me there. All of us as our parents children born and grew in the father land Mavaneh, and got married there with the people from the same village. We flied on September, 23 1997 at Istanbul airport and arrived at New York on afternoon of September, 24 1997 and the day after to Jacksonville Florida. We decided that don't live under this bad government any more. They could not find any thing but it caused me to not participate in the nationwide exam for going to college. she is still alive and had been a wonderful mother for her 11children, five boys and six girls.
