Dawn of the Dead

Survival instinct is something every human being should have some sort of grasp on. Without this certain instinct, it would be very hard to survive any type of dilemma, especially one such as zombies coming from every place you look trying to get a taste of human blood. If the dilemma does not involve zombies, I do not think you have to worry about having survival instincts. As this film develops, only the elite humans with the skills to survive actually survive, but barely. Even though many people may know what to do at certain times, especially when chaos breaks out in the world, some of the elite class even get taken down by the flesh eating zombies. Some humans are natural born leaders while others rather follow in someone else's footsteps. Although this may be true, when all is said and done, every single person on the face of the earth has a natural state of mind that would want to do everything their own way. They want to do it their way because they have the best plan to survive and nobody else plan is even near as good. The only way to overcome the odds of dying is to work together using teamwork, cooperation, and precise planning. In the beginning of the movie, Ana (Sarah Polley) plays a nur

This seems like a great plan but the only problem is how to get out of town, and alive. While they are in the streets zombies attack them from every angle giving them little hope to survive. Furthermore, these two people chose to do what they thought was best and Ana decides to follow Kenneth for protection. Everything goes as planned and they run through the streets as a team. Not only does this show everyone the different natural instincts that every person has, it also shows people the different mindset of men and women. With all this being said, many times working alone will get people so far but working as a team with proper planning and cooperation is what helps humans get to their destination. Usually when having a natural instinct, it is what is best for that exact situation but at the same time it may be setting them up for an even worse situation. Everyone else sees that Nicole is in trouble and has to work as a team just to save her. This means the guy who is all by himself is going to become a zombie. With their instincts of survival, they believe that as a team they can overcome the obstacle of the mall security guards but by themselves they are helpless and basically sitting ducks for the zombies. Having a natural instinct is what people want to follow but most natural instincts are not thought all the way through. Knowing this, Terry turns on his own men only to help the larger group survive. For her, she took her instincts and got into the car and would not stop for anything or anyone. Since he had no food, they see on opportunity arise as the blood seeking zombies only want human blood. Nicole somehow reaches the other side alive but is trapped because Andy has now become a zombie.
