Student essay
In my ten years of education I have developed many new and interesting "school skills". I have learned my ABC's my 123's, and I have learned my P's and Q's. I have learned how to be a hard worker, and to never give up. I have become a respectful student and a curious learner. I have many areas of interest in the classroom and I do think it is important to study English in many ways. In Kindergarten I was probably one of the first kids who read a book with more than three words on the page, but then everything just went downhill from there. Right now I love to read, but my reading skills could be better; I am slow and I get sidetracked very, very easily. In the beginning of And Then There Were None, where all the characters were introduced, I got sidetracked and I had to go back to read it over when they were mentioned. Another problem that I have is studying. I do study, but the only technique that has worked so far is copying over my notes and it is a waste of time especially if there are 40 pages of notes. So I have been trying to find a new way, but nothing has worked as well so far. I would say that my two main weaknesses are reading and studying. One of my strengths is presenting my work. I am no
I keep my day but I change the facts; like I could say that I rode a donkey from class to class, to make my day more interesting. Everything is written in your native language and you have to have a strong understanding of the language to understand. It is important to study English for many different reasons. I am very moody when it comes to the way I work; sometimes I am lazy ( but not too often), sometimes I am a procrastinator, and sometimes I am just a hard worker. Then having to analyze them is even worse because there is nothing to analyze. t afraid to present my work in public because if I work hard on a project, then I want the people to know that I worked hard on it. Mysteries are such entertainment for me. Often I just get urges to write, so I keep a journal. You learn something new everyday, and that is my key to life. Learning grammar is so boring; of all of my classes the worst thing to learn was grammar. Writing, as I said before, is something I get urges to do, but I can always write a story, mostly any kind of story and I love to use past experiences of mine or someone else's and turn them into a fantasy or a mystery. I am definitely curious about almost anything, if a teacher says something new then I want an explanation of what it is or was or what it does. I love old mystery movies, my favorite show is Law & Order, and I am a true mystery myself. I have my moods when I am lazy, but not too often.
