The drunk driving has to stop because all these idiots are doing is harming
themselves and thousands of innocent famlies and even pedestrians. No matter what the
government does to try to stop these fools never seems to work. Because liquer,whiskey
and alcohol will always find its way into the hands of drivers.
Especially in Gallup, New Mexico our little town has more than 120 drunk drivers
that have been caught more than twice snd the problem just keeps getting worse every
year. It's hard to believe that tiny town has been nicknamed "Drunk Town USA" because
we have the most DWI offences in the whole state of New Mexico. Thats a huge number
considering that we are the fifth largest state in the USofA.
Drunk diriving affects all of us even if we don't realize it, because everytime an
intoxicated person gets behind the wheel of an automobile they're not only putting
themselves at risk but everyone else on the road. And the sad thing is that in most of the
accidents an innocent family are the the ones in the trama room, while the drunk driver
It's awful to think that we all know someone who has died in a DWI, we've all
lost someone to DWI. I lost a grandfather. One cold and stormy December night my
grandfather was come to visit from Window Rock. He was walking on the sholder of 666
when a drunk driver surved and struck him, killing him instantley. It was just two days
before my older sister was born. That drunk driver deprived my of knowing my
grandfather, he took away all the storys that might have been told, all the laughs we would
have had, he took away all the memories that my family would have shared. I'll never
know my grandpa because some idoit got behind the wheel when he was drunk.
I think that drunk drivers should be put in pirson because they should have a a
non-drunk diver gecause that would save a few more lives then
