"My Unprepared First Date"

             I heard a knock at the front door, and a voice spoke, " is Tiffiany home", it was my date. I never knew it but my life to a turn for the worst. After my first date, I vowed to never date again. It became difficult to pull everything together and make it go right, but I guess it was because I waited to the last minute. Getting ready for this date was the longest, most drawn out, hectic hour and a half of my life. The preparation for this date was like getting ready for a photo shoot, actually worse, at least I got paid for the photo shoot. It was so crazy that I found myself loosing things that were right in front of my face. Between finding the right hairstyle, making my date wait and messing up the entire night, my first date made a second one far from my mind.
             I found that the hardest part of the night was finding a hairstyle that was suitable for the activities we had set forth. We planned on going to the movies, then out to eat, and then to go to his mother's house. I tried several things but none of them worked. I started with trying to pull my hair up in a clamp, but it was flying everywhere. The edges of my hair would not lie down for anything in the world that night. My hair looked like a perm was way past overdue. I must have tried everything from oil sheen to hair mayonnaise trying to get my hair straight. Using all of that made my hair too frizzy to hang down. That was extremely terrible, because I had decided that was how I wanted my hair. I pulled out the hot curlers, and the flat irons and went to work. After awhile, I finally got it straight, but it was too weighed down to work with. It was time for another style to come into play. So I went to the plain but classic ponytail, and that didn't go for me at the time. The ponytail made me look like I was eleven years old again, I couldn't picture myself going out in public and making a fool of myself like that. So again I switched hairstyles...
