Isaac Newton

Isaac Newton one of the foremost scientific intellects of all time was born on January 4th, 1643, in Woolsthorpe, England. Newton attended Trinity College in 1661. At the age of 18, he achieved his Bachelor of Arts and his Master of Arts by the age of 26. Newton was a master of not only science but also mathematics. He was the first to discovered calculus. Newton's most popular discovery was gravity. Some people say that Sir Isaac Newton was resting under a tree one day in his garden, when an apple fell from it and hit him on the head. Thus, he discovered gravity. Shortly after the death of Galileo Galilee, Newton was then able to posses a little knowledge of gravity on the planets. The earth's gravitational pull pulls objects toward it. However, many others believe that this is only a myth created to simply illustrate Newton's discovery, for someone at a younger age to understand how gravity really works. Along with Newton's many other discoveries in science, the laws of gravity

" 1 "The third law states that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Force - force is equal to mass x acceleration. The three main ideas to the laws are: inertia, F = MA, and the idea that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. Imagine that a skateboard and rider are in a state of rest (not moving). where his most famous of all his amazing discoveries. A rocket can lift off from a launch pad only when it expels gas out of its engine. The cannon ball has a small mass and a large acceleration. The skateboard responds to that action by traveling some distance in the opposite direction. For example, if I were to throw a baseball into the air, it would keep going until gravity takes effect and pulls it back down toward the earth. The skateboard's opposite motion is called a reaction. Inertia - An object in motion will remain in motion, and an object at rest will remain at rest. If you left it sitting on a table, it would lie there until someone or something with force were to move it. At the same time the cannon itself is pushed backward a meter or two.
