Philosophy asks the questions “What is this?” and “Why is this?” The human mind seeks out things as well. We seek to know essences of things and the causes of things. My point of view expresses that, most people believe in a higher being because it gives them faith. Having something or someone to believe in makes people feel good. In order for someone to feel that they have come into contact, they must take this unconscious image and bring it in to the conscious. I get a little confused when people say they have seen God or heard his voice. Now that I’m older I ask questions like “If everyone was taught to believe in the Devil, would we still see God as we do?”
. That is the view I support when it comes to questions about God. I just don’t get the concept of one person creating everything. It gives people that release from the outside world, rids them of all their pain and sorrow.
