There are plenty of cities that vie for professional sports. Some settle for minor leagues and some keep up the hunt for the Pros.
             What are some of the cities in the US, in your opinion, that should have a pro team? Of course we're going to end up debating each of these choices, so despite our lists, there will be criticism.
             Portland, Oregon: Big market with only 1 pro sports team (Porland Trailblazers). Paul Allen has been reported to be trying to bring the NHL to Portland, and they have been questing for quite a while now (how many years?) for MLB... Definately a market someone should put further pro sport investment in.
             Birmingham, Alabama: This is just in my humble opinion. The city is die hard with football and has hosted many failed leagues in their city. I think they could very well support a pro team if they actually decided to give the city a chance.
             Oklahoma City, Oklahoma: They're trying to get stuff for a new arena right now and I think that a plains city besides KC, or ones in Texas, should be allowed to host a pro sport -- be it the NFL, NBA, NHL (which traditionalists will bark at) or MLB...
             I've only listed three cities on purpose to get the discussion going. I could have put down Las Vegas or Orlando but I don't believe in either of those markets -- Las Vegas' gambling connection and Orlando's proximity (with Miami, Tampa and Jacksonville already surronding it with pro sports) doesn't win me over in any way. Yes, Orlando has a team already but then again, the Magic have been talked about with relocations rumors - relocation to OKC? St. Louis? Tampa? Etc....
             I don't know about the other cities you mentioned, but in Birmingham and Alabama the only kind of football that they care about is the kind that is played on Saturday. Besides, why put a team there when all you have to do is drive 2 hours to the Georgia Dome.
