Theodore Roosevelt

Born on October 27, 1858, Theodore Roosevelt became one of the most famous and one of the many great presidents of the United States of America. As twenty-sixth President of the United States, Theodore Roosevelt, also known and T.R. and Teddy, built the Panama Canal, became the first president to ever fly on an airplane and go on a submarine. Teddy also won the Nobel Prize and served the United States with two terms of Presidency. This great role-model is well known among the world.

Teddy was the second of four children. He was a very lonely child because when he was young, he was diagnosted with asthma. He would hardly ever get a chance to get out and play with children his age. So to better his situat

Teddy came back into politics though. With great grief, he went out west to become a rancher in the Badlands of the Dakota Territory, where he had met Alice. He found it an emotional challenge to do because of the reason he had always been a lonely kid. Soon, Teddy grew and went to Harvard, where he graduated in 1880 from politics. We were the United States and we had and have control over the world. This tour proved to the world that we were it. Teddy began his first term in Presidency. One of his greatest achievements durig his first term is that is still around and actually helps us still, is the construction of the Panama Canal. There was usually no one to play around with so he amused himself with nature, his best friend at the time. Four years later, after he had married his wife, Alice Lee Roosevelt, his mother and wife died the same day. Teddy was shot one day by a fanatic, but luckily for him, he was dead.

The Great White Fleet

Roosevelt had to leave the presidency in 1909 and so he happily went off to the African Safari where he was close to death at times. He was called Teddy because he was asked to kill a bear once and he chose not to because he thought it was not sportsman-like.
