God in Noah's and the Prodical Son Parable

             The god present in the story of Noah differs from the god present in the parable of
             the prodigal son in many peculiar and interesting ways. The presentation of man differs
             quite a bit in these two stories as well and have many contradicting points between them.
             The representation of god in the story of Noah from the beginning shows a very
             emotional and regretful god in more then one occasion. To be more specific god shows
             regret first for man's wickedness and cold blooded heart. God also showed regret when
             god made his covenant with Noah that would not use flood to destroy the earth again.
             In the story of Noah, god is also very angry and revengeful. God is enrage with
             all of the human race and decides to destroy earth from one moment to the next without
             even really thinking about it. For example when god tells Noah is this: " The end of all
             flesh is come before me; For the earth is filled with violence through them; and be hold I
             will destroy them with the earth." (GENESIS 6-9). With that statement god proved that
             anger and revenge led him to the destruction of earth.
             God was also impulsive and extremely judgmental in the story of Noah. God showed being impulsive when he decided to destroy the whole earth because god saw violence and corruption in man's heart. God's impulsiveness brought him to destroy every living thing in the planet including animals, plants and men alike. God made every living thing in earth pay for man's bad behavior. God's harsh judgment and impulsiveness are the reason god brought dooms day up on earth.
             God was also portrayed as a hypocritical being. This is proven when god shed so much blood on earth because mankind is so violent and evil. When god states: "I will
             destroy men whom I have created from the face of the earth!" (GENESIS6-9), god
             showed that god himself was very ruthless.
