Alexander Graham Bell

Have you ever wondered what it would be like if there was not telephone? Most of us use the telephone everyday for reasons. Alexander Graham Bell made a worldwide impact by inventing the telephone. He made it possible to communicate from anywhere around the globe. Bell is the man held responsible for inventing the phone. He dedicated his whole life to make inventions that would help revolutionize our world! Bell was born in Edinburg, Scotland on March 3, 1847. Alexander was interested in a lot of things as a young boy. He had a great gift for sounds and tones. Bell's father and grandfather were both speech teachers and were of coarse an influence on bell. Alexander Graham Bell's father introduced visible speech, which helped the deaf communicate. Alexander and his father worked on this together. In the late 1860s, tragedy struck the Bell family. Alexander's brother died of tuberculosis. Then he started showing signs of being sick, so the whole family moved to Canada for the health reasons. Bell began to feel better and deci


Others valued Bell's life because he changed the world. After that, Bell had sketched a new model for Watson to make. Because of this discovery, Bell was able to get a patent for the telephone on March 7, 1876. Thomas tried to get the reed working by flicking it with his finger. They were trying to receive the sounds of vibrations. Bell was waiting for the sounds as Watson's reed was struck. Another great discovery happened by accident just three days later after Bell got his patent. During this time and a couple years later Alexander achieve many other things. During the day he worked with the deaf and at night he would work on his invention of the telephone. Alexander had invented a way of transmitting sound electrically (The basic principle of the telephone). Bell did not know much about electricity. Watson knew a lot about electricity and had the ability to make great models.
